Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by rocking your socks at the Maple Grove Community Center. Enjoy carnival games, music, and socks! We rock our socks on March 21 (3/21) to celebrate those with three sets of their 21st chromosome.
Socks were chosen because the karyotype of Down Syndrome chromosomes looks like mismatched socks! Every year on March 21, people worldwide celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks.
After the event, stop by Chanticlear Maple Grove for dinner and to continue the celebration.
